Spyder is a Portrait artist based in Manchester, UK.

Spyder is from New Zealand, settling in the UK in 1987 and has been resident in Manchester for the last 15 years.
He has trained and worked as an Actor and Classical Guitarist as well as an Artist since arriving in the UK.

Spyder has exhibited widely in galleries and commercial properties throughout the Northwest and has been comissioned from as far away as New Zealand, Singapore and Tenerife.

His preferred medium is oil on canvas and is happy to work from both sittings and photographs.

The majority of Spyders work is human portraiture but he is interested in all subjects in landscape, still life and animal portraiture.
